surprisingly relevant

Yep, I'm finally back off my holidays and ready for a holiday blog post to fill you all in on the latest. I have titled this post surprisingly relevant because I am hoping this post will work in some sort of order! You'll see what I mean......

First off, I was holidaying in Cornwall and was bodyboarding constantly so I barely took my wetsuit off! Yes, wetsuits are possibly the most unfashionable item of clothing...just about ever, but I have observed and come up with 3 top tips to help YOU make a wetsuit look good!

Tip 1 : Wear some beach bracelets!

Hand-madebracelets, shell bracelets....just about anything goes!

Tip 2: Make like a beach babe with wet or windswept hair!

Tip 3: Wear some statement sunnies! Like the ones above or the pair (below)I bought in Cornwall with holiday money. I love the floral pattern!

I also bought myself a new pair of flipflops using money I earnt by being a caddy while my mum and dad played on an 18 hole golf course! Yawn!

After leaving Cornwall we (me, mum and dad) payed a visit to my cousin, auntie and uncle. While I was there I received some colourful bracelets from another cousin who got them from a market in Ghana! I love them and they could also do as some great beach bracelets!

Sorry about the picture quality!
Anyway, next up on the train back home I bought another Teen Vogue to read on the 4 hour journey!
Here is this issues cover featuring Taylor Swift,

It was a special denim, back-to-school issue that included a 4 page-spread on themed make-up:

Yep, it's the beauty revelation of the century: wearing YSL lipstick on not only your lips but your cheeks too! Noticed it yet?!

Another few revelations! Paper-clip earrings in your hair (left) and glitter (using eye glue) on your eyes (right)!

Anyway coincidently todays outfit was inspired by a double-jacket trend in Teen Vogues shoot Neat Freaks:
The Teen Vogue version:

Note how they wear a jacket as a shirt, with a jacket on top with either a denim skirt or trousers!
And my interpretation.....

Phew! I think we're done!
Please comment on any of the subjects, what is your favourite part? Did I work the triple-denim? And what about those beauty revelations!
