setting the trend: statement cardigan

Yep, a little addition to an outfit that everyone should own:a statement cardigan. I went out for dinner last night wearing mine. The jumper did belong to my mum but I've decided I like it better! Given it was sooo statement I simply layered a white and pink vest underneath plus wide-legged shorts and a silver necklace. I did wear the vintage ring from this post but I'm (obviously) not wearing it in the picture below. Here is the outfit....

Today I  got changed to the up-beat sound of DJ Fresh (the song Louder) and got some immediate inspiration for todays outfit (I also listened to some Nicki Minaj but that's completely irrelevant). In the video for the song everyone's wearing shorts and a bright summer top so why shouldn't I do the same! I wore another of my mums tops (she had a recent clear out!) with pale shorts and my old school socks! You never know when those things will come in handy.......

Yes, you thought right: I am wearing the t-shirt back to front! The actual front was a little boring and not at all statement so I cut off the label and turned it around!
